** Update 4 Begins - This is the final review as now sold ** At 3 years old, the car has covered only 32,000 miles. The time has come to sell the A-Class ....... why? Overall Experience -------------------------- A great car for versatility but ruinously expensive to run. Far too fragile and a...

ConsLooks a bit like Camilla Parker-Bowles, head on.

Introduction Isn't the A-Class an oddball? Out of the many people I've spoken to in relation to the car, nobody can quite work it out. Is it a family hatchback? Is an MPV? Is it a luxury city car? Is it a van with windows? In fact, it's all of those things. A truly versatile car that perhaps...

Confortable car with a reasonable smooth ride and fair economy, I return between 34 and 39 mpg and I am not a light footed driver. I serviced recently myself and when I found all the parts in the car it only took 2 hours for filters, plugs and oil change. Being able to remove all the seats bar...

Since having our baby 'Merc' we havent had...

The car is great to have to get around, its fast and stylish. If you are looking for a car for a few years, then this one is great, but if you want a car for longer, then this is not the car. I have had this car for a long time now, and recently, I have been spending £1000's fixing it and getting it back to working order.

ConsEconomy

We bought an A-class A160 53 plate in October. It is a dream to drive. The handling is very good and comfortable. The inside is surprisingly spacious. Also there is a lot of storage room in the back. The back seats fold down and forwards revealing a flat space which is enormous for the size of...

Consinterior colour scheme

So many cars today try to be a things to all men, the surprising thing about the Mercedes A class is that is so nearly succeds. The exhaust on the 160 version has a sporty note and the accelertion is brisk and whilst motorway cruising it is easy to pass the legal limit without realising. The...
