Best E-class

Advantages: Performance, Sounds, spacoius, at odds with Merc Image
Disadvantages: lack of hard-core diver appeal

The E55 was released in 98' and has had a fierce reputation ever since Merc teamed up with it's current tuning partner AMG. Although not that many people know about it. It's starting price of nearly £60,000 isn't exactly cheap but you do get alot of things standard that were'nt on the E430, like full AMG body kit and alloys,a supercharged 5.5 litre V8.
