This car is fairly good but you would expect better quality from the name on the badge.
The interior seems a little flimsy in places although the main controls all feel solid. Mainly items such as trays and ashtray covers, they all feel substandard.
The interior acutally looks quite nice on the Avantgarde models (a metal looking interior), whereas others in the range have fake wood and look very old man.
The boot sometimes sticks shut, the car sometimes fails to start - but removing the key and retrying again it starts immediately. Perhaps it hasn't detected the key is present (it is an electronic key and not a physical one).
Servicing and parts can be quite expensive but the dealers are often helpful. Joining their 'three-point' scheme you get free MOT tests and 20% off all other work. This costs nothing if you ask.
You also get free breakdown cover that is covered by Mercedes themselves. This is transferable between owners, however the car must have a full Mercedes service history to qualify. This last for 30 years through most of Europe.
Not a bad car overall, very reliable, very comfortable but not very sporty. It has an amazing turning circle but is difficult to reverse and reverse parking sensors are helpful.
I would buy another.
