My first Mercedes and I definently would not buy another make of car. From entering the showroom to driving away in my new car, the experience was very feel good. I purchased the car in November 2002 and since then it has been nothing but a pleasure to drive. Fuel consumption is amazing given the weight of the car and the ride and handling are excellent. The power is always there when you need it and the diesel engine is ultra quiet. There have been no downsides so far and I doubt very much there will be. A car too be proud of in so many ways. Alloy wheels should be standard across the range but apart from that a couple of extra pounds spent for alloys and a Tiptronic gearbox makes all the difference.

For higher ratings you need a lot more detail about the car, things like price, upholstery, drive quality, other features (I know it'll have them as it's a mercedes) - all the boring stuff you read in car magazines but need to know if you're buying. Jo

Advantages: Runs very smoothly for a diesel car and i love the automatic gear box! Disadvantages: Fake leather interior lets it down! Why can't Mercedes use soft real leather like Audi or Saab?

Advantages: All the comfort of a Mercedes with the performance and control of top of the range exec Disadvantages: Every features costs you money..if you have to pay BIK tax then you will be hurt by the CO2 levels
