THe new c class, was launched last september and has been four years in the making. Now it is out it boasts a vast array of gadgetry such as a parking sensor, cruise control and automatic headlights and wipers,and looks and handles like a dream. Everything is better than the previous c class model and it is almost as if it is a completely different car as everything-steering,cornering,braking etc feels smoother and better. Prices range from 25 -30k and is a sportier answer to BMWs 3 seires, though it is quite pricey, you pay for the badge and the quality. As it is a mercedes the price is less likely to depreciate and it is something you be proud to have in your driveway.
The ride is comfortable and cruises quietly along the motorway and the fuel consumption is around 30mpg which is pretty good. There is plenty of legroom in the front and the back with adjustable front seats. There is enough boot space and it is relatively easy to load. The gadgety is optional but worth it and the onboard computer is pretty easy to use.
All in all the car handles beautifully and is a top class piece of engineering.
This is good opinion, but did not tell me anything that would make me make a better informed buying decision...i.e. what is HANDLING/performance like? how reliable is it? what is fuel consumption/economy like? service intervals? how much did you buy it for? Insurance Group? all this information will make this a far more useful opinion to a conusmer looking for Info. on the Merecedes C Class, Great car by the way!

This is good opinion, but did not tell me anything that would make me make a better informed buying decision...i.e. what is HANDLING/performance like? how reliable is it? what is fuel consumption/economy like? service intervals? how much did you buy it for? Insurance Group? all this information will make this a far more useful opinion to a conusmer looking for Info. on the Merecedes C Class, Great car by the way!
