This Cranberry Joy lip balm is a Body Shop product. I really like most things from Body Shop, either for myself or to give as guests. Most of the time they seem to have some kind of special offer... more

Advantages Advantages Smells great | Doesn't cost too much | Helps treat chapped lips

Disadvantages Disadvantages Only available at Christmas time | The nearer the bottom you go, the more metallic it tastes

My Opinion I received this lip balm as a present in my christmas stocking. I'm not really a big user of lip balms - my partner always says "I'm not kissing you with that stuff on your lips" - so I was grateful, put it to one side and forgot about it completely. That was until I came down with a mega case of chapped lips and couldn't find the Carmex that I usually have in the medicine drawer. They were so painful I found myself dashing around the house trying to find something that would stop them from burning. I was re-acquainted with this product once I'd searched through the office desk ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells fab, looks good, feels nice, restores and protects lips, ethical values

Disadvantages Disadvantages Only available at christmas, maybe a little expensive

I brought the Merry Cranberry Lip Balm from The Body Shop over christmas 2009. Tin The lip balm comes in a handy, pocket sized 15ml tin. The tin is rounded and decorated in different shades of red. It looks quite festive, but not over the top so it can be used throughout the year without raising any eyebrows. The tin is attractive and quite neutral (not too young but not old fashioned) so is suitable for all ages. The lid is easy to remove and put back on. Smell When you remove the lid you are hit with the smell of sweet Cranberries. In my opinion The Body Shop have captured the smell of ... more

Advantages Advantages Lovely smell, long wearing, long lasting, nicely presented.

Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit more expensive if bought full price.

From my previous reviews you will see that I am a huge Body Shop fan and as part of my New Years resolution I decided to start using up my 300+ stash of toiletries and make up items which take up 2 tall plastic drawered units and so I shall have many more reviews shall be coming this way. I started using this lip balm a few weeks ago after my lips were very dry in the cold spell and thought that after constant use it deserved my opinion. *~* The Company *~* The Body Shop is an ethically, natural shop which sells a variety of various toiletries and make-up products. It is owned by L'Oreal which ... more

Advantages Advantages Glossy Finish & Smell

Disadvantages Disadvantages Doesn't hydrate the lips

I bought this a few months ago now after seeing it instore at my local Body Shop. It was reduced from £4 to £2 due to it been out of season due to the Christmas theme so i stocked up on a couple. The packaging is quite noticeable and bold, it's a small red circular tub with a pull-off lid which is simple and easy to use and allows easy acess to the lip balm without fiddling about with screw-on lids/pumps. The packaging is red with leaf detailing on the lid. The tub is 15ml so is ofcourse pocket sized, making this a versatile product that can fit into purses, pockets, bags and purses with ease ... more

Advantages Advantages Pleasant scent and taste, works well

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive at full price, lid comes off easily

I like buying products from The Body Shop, mainly because they always have some sort of special offer on! I decided to get hold of one each of their limited edition Christmas lip balms, and while this product was supposed to cost £4 I got it for less by ordering online and using a discount code. Currently it is available in the post-Christmas sale at a cost of £2.50. The Cranberry range of products has been a festive staple at The Body Shop for the past few years. In the past it has gone by the name of Merry Cranberry, but now it is known as Cranberry Joy. The packaging has changed a little ... more
