Advantages: Robust drill Disadvantages: Drill and battery can be heavy so i have to use both hands.
hi,
I recently purchased a DC223KA hammerdrill for my signmaking business. Its a great piece of equipment. The sds bits are easy to slot into the holder and remove. I also bought an adapter so I can add non sdsdrill bits. I did find that the drill + battery was a little heavy. For installing signs I'm unable to hold the sign and drill in one go. The adjustable holder makes the drilling operation very stable and rotary motor is quieter than non-rotary models. The battery holds its charge for around 50-80 holes depending on the depth. Advantages: powerfull, good brand, robust, quality drill Disadvantages: price- but you pay for quality
in my opinion although there are cheaper options this is the one to go for. bosch means that this is well built and will last for ever and this drill does that. it has the different settings needed and they are robust so even when you drop this thing like i have its doesnt break. its very powerfull and i use this at work all the time. i havent found a wall it doesnt just wizz straight though. if you want a powerfull and reliable drill then buy this, i have used others and this is as good if not better than your other big brand names. if i had to replace mine i would go for the same again but im sue the drill will out live me! ...
