"Metric-Fantasies" a wonderful, exciting genre of music

Advantages: there are bonus tracks
Disadvantages: none

Metric is a Canadian New Wave/indie rock band. The band vocalist is Emily Haines who has an unusual, extraordinary voice. "Fantasies" consists of 10 songs: 1. "Help, I'm Alive" 2. "Sick Muse" 3. "Satellite Mind" 4. "Twilight Galaxy" 5. "Gold Guns Girls" 6. "Gimme Sympathy" 7. "Collect Call" 8. "Front Row" 9. "Blindness" 10. "Stadium Love" All songs have a similar sound to them, but you will find that you'll have this album on repeat as Emily's hypnotic voice really captures your attention and makes you pay mroe attention to the lyrics- which are very clever. My personal favourite is "Help I'm Alive", the song is very celever and catchy and has a feel-good feel to it. Halo3

Advantages: Fantastic multi-player, Simple to get into, difficult to put down!
Disadvantages: Short 1 player game. Need to pay extra for more multi-player maps

The game that made me put my hand in my pocket to buy the system!!! The same can be said of the 1st Halo, both these games made the difference between Sony & Microsoft getting my hard earned! Loved the original Halo, it set the benchmark @ the time. In Halo 3, the single player mode is good fun but not long enough or different enough to really push itself beyond the levels of Halo 1&2, it's really more of the same(run around, kill the alien invaders known as the covenant, well, anything that isn't wearing green & talking in an American accent) with a few tweaks & greatly improved graphics. That isn't necessarily a bad thing tho, as the 1st 2 were great! Straight forward, run around, kill everything before it kills you, nothing mentally taxing & if you cant aim very well, use the needler gun with it's heat seeking bullets! If you are just ...
