Manufacturer's product description
With a futuristic design and high-performance scanning technology, the MS9520 Voyager is clearly the most advanced auto-triggered scanner on the market today. Enabled for both in-stand and out-of-stand operation, Voyager can be used as a handheld and fixed presentation scanner. The MS9520 Voyager is perfect for many applications including point-of-sale, inventory control and commercial/warehouse applications. With its aggressive performance and comfortable design, Voyager is far and away the most advanced scanner on the market today.
Advantages: Fast, well spec'd, nice price. Disadvantages: No floppy disk drive.
...playback is also fairly good, there is sometimes a bit of lag/blurring, but it is as good as any other laptop from the same era. Applications such as MS Office run without any problems, and Windows XP is an intuitive and stable OS.
Personally, I feel that the Voyager 5614 is an excellent machine, and if the current crop of Evesham machines is as good as this (press comments would suggest they are) then they are worth serious consideration to anyone looking for a new laptop. I strongly recommend Evesham and the Voyager range.

Advantages: Smooth face, niece feels, shortcut keys Disadvantages: the name "Microsoft"- but don't let that put you off!
...Microsoft the worlds most popular software writing company for the home computer has developed a throughly recommeneded keyboard. Most of Microsofts' software crashes'and is unreliable, it is not to be trusted although it has, Windows, the worlds most popular os. On top of there software they have a range of hardware input products these include mice, keyboards, games pads, steering wheel etc. Their Microsoft Internet keyboard is exceptionally good, it makes typing faster and easy. The wrest which is privided it very helpful and has a curved face which feels good.
To make it "interent" they have stuck a few shortcut keys near the top of the keyboard, fantastic!
It is so good, that my dad has bought one for the office and we have bought another one at home for are other PC!...
