more intuitive scanning system than other conventional, triggered scanners. The MS9540 VoyagerCG is designed to replace triggered scanners. In doing so, Metrologic's engineering department incorporated a feature called CodeGate that makes the MS9540 more intuitive to use than a triggered scanner. Using Metrologic's patented auto-trigger, the laser is automatically activated when a bar code is presented, allowing the user to easily select the bar code. Then with a press of the CodeGate button, the data is transmitted to the host system. This unique concept makes VoyagerCG perfect for menu-scanning. When the MS9540 is placed in its stand, CodeGate can be automatically deactivated allowing VoyagerCG to be used as a fully automatic presentation scanner.VoyagerCG includes the ability to decode the emerging Reduced Space Symbology (RSS). Industries including supermarkets, pharmaceutical, and healthcare are beginning to utilize this new symbology.

...This was my first Microsoft mouse as I normally purchase Logitech, but with having a bad experience with the Logitech MX Revolution I decided to give Microsoft a try, and I wasn't disappointed. I purchased the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 from Ebuyer for Ģ46 including next day delivery.
The Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 is black in color with a silver trim running around its circumference, it looks very classy and the ergonomics of the mouse are superb, its fits perfectly in the hand
and all the buttons are in easy reach. I will point out though that this mouse is no good for left handed people.
Starting from the underneath, we have a ON/OFF switch (which I would recommend switching to off after you have switched your computer off, basically this makes the batteries last even longer) on the subject of batteries, I...

...I've reviewed quite a few mice in my time on this site. Some of you may start thinking that I have some sort of mouse fetish, I don't, I simply seem to come across quite a lot of mice in my day to day work! You see, I work as an IT Consultant for Doctors Surgeries, and sometimes that means doing stuff like installing mice! So, I get this new mouse on my desk the other day, it's a Microsoft Intellimouse Optical. Hey, this was the mouse I was going to buy myself instead of my Logitech Optical mouse that I bought.
Microsoft make good mice, theres no denying that. They are the leader in the field of mice and probably will be for a long time, with Logitech following closely behind. Their mice are normally very durable, but you do pay for them. Take for instance my mouse at work. It's been used for 3 years now, every day. The casing...

...I recently decided to upgrade my aging Pace webcam and after looking at various models of new super dooper cams I plumped for the Microsoft Lifecam VX3000.
Microsoft seem to dominate the world with products nowadays, however it is a name you can trust and generally you get a good quality product. This was true when I received the unit, it had a quality feel to it.
Microsoft have various incarnations of their webcams ranging from the entry level VX1000 to the highly specced and highly priced VX6000, whilst I suppose you pay for what you get, i was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the images from the unit.
After the installation of the drivers from the enclosed CD, it's a straight foward process, just plugging into a spare USB socket and windows recognises the device and loads the drivers for it. It will then go through...

I purchased the Remington MS5800 shaver on the basis that it seemed to be laden with features, offering a close shave (closer than Philips multi head), power remaining indicator, quick charge, rechargeable and all at a good price.
It is quite a chunky... more
They say "money makes the world go round", and nowhere is this truer than in the cut throat world of console gaming. Time was you purchased a game, stuck it in the console and played it 'til completion before discarding it in a corner to gather dust.... more
