Logitech Trackball
Review of Logitech Trackman Wheel - trackball by
no.recoil
Advantages: Ergonomic, easy to use, reduces strain on wrist
Disadvantages: Only suitable for right-handed, no extra buttons
I originally got the logitech trackman wheel to relieve the pain in my wrist (from using a mouse too often) as the only part that needs moving is the thumb. I've got to say it really helped. It is much more relaxing to use than a standard mouse - the trackball is actually very smooth. It did take a couple of days to get used to and get a feel for it but in the end it was definitely worth it.
Regarding accuracy, I wouldn't use it to play FPS but ...

To track or not to track!
Review of Logitech Trackman Marble Wheel - trackball by
omendata
Advantages: Reduced risk of RSI , Quicker than a mouse and better for games!
Disadvantages: Not as accurate in Graphics packages such as Photoshop , Paintshop pro!
...ago and its called the Logitech Trackman Marble - I've had mine for7 years now and I have never had a problem with it yet so that says a lot for its sturdiness and electrical reliability - I havent had a conventional mouse last for more than 3 years tops!
If you havent tried one yet - go out, buy it , stay with it for a couple of weeks and you'll never use anything but a trackball in future believe me!
Ive tried many trackballs but if you want ...

My favorite trackball/mouse/etc ever
Review of Logitech Trackman Cordless Wheel - trackball by
phalangid
Advantages: Ergonomic, control of pointer, battery life
Disadvantages: Takes a week to get used to
This is probably my favorite purchase for my computer 'stuff' collection! I started using a cordED version of this thing 10 years ago or so at work, got one for myself, and after it died (was in use for 5 years, which is fair in my mind) I got the cordless version listed here. I love this thing, and here are some details on why:
Ergonomics - I think this thing is really good to reduce strain on your wrist, and after a week or two getting used to ... ...to move the trackball, it's so easy to work with.
Detail on screen - at least for me, it's really easy to get exactly what I want to click on, easier than with a mouse! I know one reviewer doesn't like this for gaming... I love it for gaming! I do 1st person shooters a lot (i.e. HalfLife, etc.) and it works like a dream.
Software - this thing works if you just plug it in on an XP machine (probably Vista, too) but the additional software makes it ...

Good mouse, nice colour!
Review of Trust Retractable Optical Mini Mouse Pink MI-2850Sp - mouse by
daaapianogirl
Advantages: light, USB, comfy
Disadvantages: none
...researching, I just got a Trust Retractable Optical Mini Pink Mouse for my new Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. The mouse looks great!!! The colour is lovely! It is small but a very good size for a laptop mouse! It has a very comfortable feel when using it, the scroll is good. It doesnt need any mouse mat. I just use it on the inside surface of the laptop and it works fantastically! It is very light, and it doesnt need any batteries, just plug the usb ...

Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse
Review of Apple Mighty Mouse Wireless - mouse by
HellSoul
Advantages: Almost brilliant design, looks great.
Disadvantages: Expensive, limited programming for buttons.
...year, I purchased my first Apple computer. Deciding to go for the iMac, an all-in-one desktop computer.
From their website, Apple include either the wired or wireless Mighty Mouse with the purchase, the Wireless option being a £13.99 upgrade option, but no option to get the computer without the mouse.
Because I have so many computer mice lying around, I was torn between selling the default (wired) Mighty Mouse when the computer arrived, or upgrading ... ...X).
Being my first Apple computer, I had to learn to use one click instead of two. At first I failed at this terribly, by holding down control and then clicking on something will do the same thing as right click will on a normal mouse, so if you regularly need to use the "right click" menu, then it can be quite awkward remembering that you need to operate mouse and keyboard at the same time. As a result of this, I found myself having to learn a ...
