HP Wireless Laser Mini Mouse

Advantages: None, over a standard optical mouse.
Disadvantages: Short operating range

I bought this mouse because I needed a mouse urgently and this was the only one available with a known name. Realistically, how much space do you save in a laptop bag by buying a small mouse? I would rather have the comfort of a full size one. The mouse worked straight out of the box, no problems. The resolution is good and the action of the buttons is also good. The biggest complaint I have is that it does not seem to have a great range. If I ...

A laser powered HP mouse-y mouse-y.

Advantages: Accurate, responsive, battery-free, excellent value
Disadvantages: PS/2 connection, occasional "pointer-wander"

...Overview & Appearance ~~~ The HP PS2 optical scroll mouse is about as basic as mice come these days. Featuring left and right click buttons and a scroll wheel, this mouse seems to be the basic model shipped with all of their HP Compaq desktop PCs. Manufactured on the sneak by Logitech, the main body of the mouse is housed in black plastic with a small, tastefully subtle HP logo printed on it in silver, whilst each click button is finished in a metallic ...
...PC is a credit to HP as they have resisted the usual corporate choice to bundle cheap and nasty peripherals with their machines to cut costs. Being PS/2 and full-size, it is unlikely that this device will be compatible with modern laptops (they tend to only have USB connections, not PS/2). As more and more PCs ship without PS/2 connectors onboard, this mouse will have a more limited market, but if you are looking for a suitable workhorse to do basic ...

Hp Laser Mouse - Glide with HP

Advantages: It Works
Disadvantages: It's just the basic mouse, no thrills

HP USB Laser Mouse Introduction Continuing on my theme of objects that I use at work, the HP USB laser mouse, and a fine mouse indeed it is. Laser mice were initially pioneered by Sun Micro Systems in 1998 but did not gain prominence in the market till 2004 with Logitech. Since then it has dominated the mice market. Improvements from Medieval Mice Its major advantage was not having a ball which aided in two ways: a) the ball ...
...silver buttons and a tiny HP logo printed on it. It looks professional; I would more then happily game with it, if only that was what my job entailed. Thanks to its USB connection its pretty much universal to any machine that I would ever use had someone decided to take their mouse away. It is also just plug in and play, no technical knowledge needed, just stick it in a USB port and your gliding. More important then anything, it works. Closing ...

The RX1000 wired mouse is a solid value product

Advantages: Responsive and rather stylish for the price!
Disadvantages: The "click" pad not quite wide enough.

...software can be downloaded from the Logitech website if you are that way inclined. I paid £10 including delivery for this chap, so we are clearly not talking top-end of the market here, but I feel that in summary, this is a well worthwhile purchase which I can recommend. ...

Great durable mouse, nothing too fancy

Advantages: A good standard mouse with Microsoft quality
Disadvantages: Wire a bit big; mouse quite light, feels quite light so feels a bit flimsy

...new version 2 of the Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse that looks like this: http://www.microsoft.com/canada/fr/mac/otherproducts/images/m18BOM.jpg - and overall its a fantastic basic mouse that is sure to last for years. Like I said in the review title, there's nothing fancy here just a standard optical mouse with a scroll wheel. If you want a basic mouse that will surely last for years to come, get the Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse. The only gripe ...
...to use it for a laptop this may be a minor inconvenience. The mouse itself is quite light and some may want a mouse that has a bit of weight to it. Overall, however, a good solid mouse. You may be able to find this mouse cheaper online such as Amazon.co.uk, than in retail stores. I've also tried ver 1 of this mouse (the one in the picture on the ciao website) and its just as good as the mouse I have, does the job well. ...
