kensington track ball mouse
Advantages: just so easy to uise Disadvantages: take a litle getting used to
I have been using a track ball mouse for a number of years now i think it must be at least five.Find it very easy to use for working on my projects hobby restoration of old photos.
For this type of work you need a good deal of control if you are to make a decent job restoring the photos, using photoshop i blow my image up to very large size then work at 1 or 2 pixels to get the effect that i am looking for with out the control of this track ball ... ...i know there are pen pads around i have one but cannot get on with it.
Doing my other computer work is so easy just a little bit of finger movement will put the mouse where i need it.
i also play games with it not the all singing danceing games that need a control pad of there own but the games that came with the laptop, again great for getting around the screen
I have had no reason to contact the manufacturere, there is hardly any need to read ...

The Ultimate Mouse - No doubt
Advantages: No mouse mat needed, Stationary operation, Helps prevent R.S.I Disadvantages: May require regualr cleaning
The Kensington Orbit Elite Trackball is by far the best mouse I have used. Over the years it is easy to get throught mice as they become dirty and clogged up. This one is different and the manufacturer must also believe in the product as it comes with a 5 year warranty. I have had mine for about 3 years now and there is slight wear on the left mouse button, however the rubber panel that runs down the middle of the device is showing no wear or tear ... ...you are one for eating at your computer as crumbs and dirt on your hands will stick to the ball and find its way on to the runners inside the mouse. I find that taking the mouse apart and cleaning it throughout has and will preserve the life of the device and make it funtion at its best.
There is no need for a mouse mat as the mouse stays stationary, therefore reducing the potential of incuring R.S.I in the long term. The device requires far less ...

cool retro mouse
Advantages: good range Disadvantages: a little big for a laptop
Kensington Ci70LE Wireless Mouse
In terms of design the mouse and its colours and pattern feature on top of it make it look very cool, however it appears to be an odd shape and a little bit big. Perhaps if you have huge hands then this might just be the perfect mouse for you but I myself prefer smaller more compact mouse's as opposed to big clumsy ones.
It is however quite a nice red colour which is a colour you don't really see much in mouse's ... ...colour or a pc that's this colour then perhaps this would suit it. The receiver is also in this red colour too which is nice to see as it matches quite well. I'm not sure it's a colour I like that much however it does make a change to the boring silver or black mouse and it does funk up your desktop a little.
The wireless signal can reach a quite normal 1.5 meters which is more than you need most the time however it cant be used for home theatre ...

Cute but not good enough
Advantages: Pop-out USB receiver can be stored in the mouse. Disadvantages: No built-in USB cable, and too big for traveler user
Kensington is known for functional, but not exactly stylish. It is small enough to fit into a laptop case easily, but big enough to use with a desktop without fatiguing your hand. This mouse lacking built-in USB cable and there are better mice out there for both desktop and laptop use, and this hybrid represents a compromise on both fronts. Desktop users may be used to extra thumb buttons, but the Ci60 has just the basics--left and right buttons ...

Great mouse but over sensitive
Advantages: Great design & scroll wheel Disadvantages: Way over sensitive
This mouse is wireless but can be connected via wires if, for example, your batteries have died - the top and bottom casing of the mouse are magnetically stuck together so its easy to take the top part of (a simple pull is all needed) and slot back in. It's difficult to explain but inside the mouse where you can take the top cover of is where the batteries lie, as well as the wire that you can connect to the wireless dongle if you want to go wired. ... ...- I had to adjust my mouse speed right to the left in order to make it even usable - and its because tracking precision is enabled in mouse preferences. My previous optical mouse had its mouse speed settings in the middle, I plugged in the USB dongle (its Plug and Play) for the Kensginton mouse and just a small movement would make it skip to half the other side of the screen...so I had to unusually lower speed settings...its usable now, but I don't ...
