Card buying can be an expensive thing, especially at this time of year and as much as I love the quality of the cards in stores such as Clintons, with my large family I just cannot afford to buy all my family cards from stores such as these at Christmas. So I was pretty impressed with Card Factory opened up a store in my local town recently. For me this store offers good quality products, but at really cost effective prices.
Obviously their main market is the card market. They offer cards for all occasions including birthdays, anniversaries, moving, sorry, thank you and general cards too. Their cards are priced at 59p for a small card, 89p for a medium card and 99p for a large card, which for me is excellent value for money. This is actually a review of the newer version 3.0 rather than 2.0 but Ciao doesn't seem to have V3 yet..
Scrapbook Factory Deluxe 3.0 provides a large range of options for creating scrapbooks, paper crafts and other projects. The program comes bundled with a vast amount of clip art, fonts, designs and other embellishments providing an all in one solution for anyone who wants to make creative and attractive pages from their photos.
The box contains a 150 page plus printed user manual (I like printed manuals!) and a chunky container for the CDs. Installation is straightforward although I felt a bit concerned over the idea of installing 1000 new fonts on to a system. Too many fonts can impact performance but to be fair, there is a minimal install option that only installs the essentials.
