Advantages: reasonably priced, great performer Disadvantages: not everyones got 130-00 for a video card
...The Radeon has been a brilliant addition to ATI's lineup, equalling the performance of the current joint top GPU, the GeForce 2 GTS. The good thing about the ATI lineup is it's release of both 32 and 64 Mb versions and the fact that both are significantly good value, a lot cheaper than the GeForce 2 solutions.
The 32 Mb version is costing only around 175-00 now and this represents good value compared to the other high end graphics chips. I have seen one of these in action and I have also seen the benchmarks and these are brilliantly good cards. They really are neck and neck with the GeForce 2 GTS offerings and yet the GeForce 2 is a lot more expensive. This is probably Nvidia gaining from the success of the GeForce 256 card.
Don't be put off by the fact that this card only has 32 Mb of memory, this is still enough for today...

...At the end of the day memory is memory, whether it is a generic brand or Kingston or Crucial isn't really going to affect things that much.
However when choosing your memory be aware of what kind of memory it is you are choosing.
The first thing is MB - MegaByte. This could be 128, 256, 512 and so on the more Megabyte you have the quicker your system should run.
As this is 256MB you have a good size for running normal everyday tools such as Outlook, Internet and Word.
However if you are into CAD drawing, using your PC as server or intense games you might want to look at 512MB.
The next thing is memory speed. In this case it is 333mhz (PC2700).
It could be 266mhz or 400mhz. Obviouslt the higher the better. However in order to really utilise this you need to have a processor that has a front side bus of the same or faster...

...i found this product to be of great use, they are so handy to transfer data to and from places i.e school work etc. it's really small and fits neatly inside any pocket. it has its own lid to prevent scratching and damage and all you need for it to work is usb port in your machine.
flash memory is the thing of the future, it's small, handy and it can store good amounts of data. its a must if your sick of carting around floppy disks or cd's etc. plus its re-writeable.
I thought that 256mb was a reasonable size and anything bigger may not have been filled, Overall the quality of this product is excellent and i would be only too happy to recommend this product to anyone else....

this is a nice little mp3 player which has excellent sound quality.
256mb hold around 70 songs for me but you can also use it to hold documents so you can transfer them from computer to computer
its quite wide when you put it in a usb socket you... more
