I have had quite a few dealings with Microdirect, and in all honesty things have gone very smoothly. I did have to return a Corsair 512mb stick from a matched XMS pair so I returned both of them and Microdirect were brilliant. As soon as they received them they let me know and confirmed that one stick was faulty. A new replacement arrived in two days and all went fine. I am still using this same memory after two years of hard use and no problems. Faults with memory modules are down to manufacturers and not Microdirect. All the modules are securely packed by the manufacturer, in my case Corsair, so it's by no way the fault of Microdirect if faulty modules are received. Just return them explaining the problems and Microdirect will do all they can to rectify the problem. I can't comment on issues regarding customer relations from other people but, I had no problems at all with regard to comminications with them. There are some poor on line stores on the net and as far as I'm concerned Microdirect is not one of them, problems do happen as with all things, just be patient and I'm sure all will go smoothly. I will continue to use Microdirect and have in fact just recieved a Corsair 4gb memory upgrade for a new build and the service was excellent, they kept me posted with updates regarding despatch, tracking number etc and the item was received within 48hrs.
