    I have been taking Microgynon 30 for 5 and a half years and have found it really reliable. I have never been on any other contraceptive pills as I have never had any problems with this one so cannot compare but this is a great contraceptive pill to me. I started my period really young and had always suffered from really bad period pains, I would have to have days off school, and the pain was so bad that I'd end up crying. When I was 15 the doctor recommended that I tried the contraceptive pill as it had been known to help period pains, I spoke to my mum and she agreed that this would be worth ... more

    I am writing my review based on the contraceptive pill "Microgynon 30" also knows basically as the pill. For me the pill is a brilliant pill to be on, I don't take the pill for contraception reasons, I have used it the pill since I was 15 as I had really bad periods from a young age and this was the only way to make them a bit lighter and easier to bare. Come on ladies you know what it is like when that time of the month comes, your mood swings and yes guys you know them mood swings as well one minute we are ok and the next we are biting your heads off!!     Disadvantages Disadvantages For me it is the closest to hell that I ever want to experience. Just awful.

    Gosh, as soon as I saw this product on here I couldn't wait to get stuck in to writing a review, expressing my feelings. I sat here, fingers eagerly poised over the keys and suddenly felt a wave of emotions flow over me and my heart started racing and I felt like I could burst into tears!     I have been bleeding ( but like dark old blood) for over a week now, wot dooes it mean?

    I have been on microgynon now for over a year with no problems, but the last week when i go to the toilet i wipe and there is wot i can only describe as the end of a period blood ( dark/old blood) I am in the middle of a pack so i am a bit concerned as to what it could be? Can anyone shed some light on this please??
