Fitting is straight forward and in fact the only difficult part is screwing the mount to a ceiling joist which is essential to take the weight of the moving blades, particularly at high speed as it's common for the whole unit to wobble slightly under the pressure.
Whether you want a fan thats cheap and cheerful, or something more extravagant, Micromark is a good place to start, and as for keeping cool, it's outstanding. Even on the slow setting there is a sufficient breeze without things blowing around the room.
As a final note, the cheapest place to purchase one of these fans is Argos, though unfortunately they sell out quickly. For a second choice I would recommend a good DIY outlet like homebase etc....

...Slowcookers are a great way of cooking food if you are going to be away from home for a long period in the day. Even though I work from home I still use ours on at least a weekly basis as I find that the meat when cooked in it is much more tender and tastier.
Although I had used slowcookers in the past, my old model was slowly gathering dust on top of the cupboard, and last Christmas I received a Morphy Richards SlowCooker as a present from my mother in law, but it retails at £34.95 in Argos and can be purchased online or in the shop.
The slowcooker is very large, with a 6.5 litre capacity and is silver in colour and oval in shape. When I opened the box I thought that the size was a little large for a family of four, and had I purchased one myself I would have probably selected a smaller model. ...My wife and I were given the Cordon Bleu SlowCooker as a gift to aid our hectic lives. As most people do, my wife studied the receipies in the manual and paid particular attention to the pre heating instructions and cooking times. We tried several receipes and the results were very tasty. The only concern was the amount of time it took to prepare things in the morning.
The general recommendation when using slowcookers is to pre heat the crock pot and any sauces that are made from powder rather than cook in sauces. If chicken is the main ingredient cooking time is recommended to be a lot longer for obvious reasons etc etc.
My daughter was the salvation of the slowcooker when she pointed out that all she does is chop the veg the night before and throw the meat in the next morning before making the gravy mix with boiling water...
