Advantages: Turbo Fan, secure wall mounting, switchable turbo fan Disadvantages: Mechanical thermostat with turbo fan can be attention grabbing!
One of the many heaters I tried was this Dimplex free standing/wall mounted convection heater with Fan Boost. I decided to try this after a returning my 4th failed Bionaire BCV3100 heater.
The wall mounting arrangement was very affective in securely locking the heater to the wall using 3 simple hooks. The unit is very light weight. There are 2 switches on the side. A power On/Off switch and below that a Hi/Low switch. Below the switches there is a mechanical thermostat to further regulate the heater. On the front of the heater integrated into the turbo fan grill there is a switch to turn the turbo fan on or off. A nice feature is on a hot day you can run the turbo fan without any heat, this provides a cool draft from the heater although it is not as affective as a desktop fan though. The turbo fan can be switched off only if ...
I bought this heater because my bedroom has two outside walls and as it's a downstairs extension one of those 'walls' is a patio door and so, especially in the winter I needed some extra warmth in my room.

3. The price! It was only £9.99. Although ...
Advantages: Blows well, Timer, Quiet, Great Instructions Disadvantages: NONE!

Gosh is it hot in here or is it just me? was a commonly used phrase when someone entered our kitchen. It was decided! A fan was needed. I don't know how our house is so warm. Heating off in the middle of the UK. Should be freezing? but nope:(
On the search for a fan we found this is Woolworths, Sadly Woolworths have closed now but their memories still live on:) This fan was a very good price. Only 29 Pounds which I personally thought was good for the Micromark brand, however wife did not agree! as she saw one in HypaValue closing sale a month before for the extremely low price of 10 pounds! Gosh why didn't she tell me? Oh well.
The box was very small to this fan, it was white and had a picture of the fan on it if I ...
