I have used Microsoft Natural keyboards for years now but when I seen this one I decided to treat myself to a new one, mainly because of the reversed tilt positioning of it. Basically meaning that instead of it being higher at the back you can have it higher at the front (if you choose to).
This did take a bit of getting used to initially for the first few days but now, I could not change back, it is MUCH more natural a position.
The ... ...palms to rest on, which again is a godsend due to the angle on the reverse.
It also has the usual programmable buttons, internet, email, volume and calculator which most now seem to include but ALSO a Zoom button which can be handy on websites which you want to make larger to see clearer. Sounds strange I know but a handy feature now and again.
Build quality is excellent and has a premium look to it.

The front also has a built in cushion area for your palms to rest on, which again is a godsend due to the angle on the reverse. It also has the usual programmable buttons, internet, email, volume and calculator which most now seem to include but ALSO a Zoom button which can be handy on websites which you want to make larger to see clearer. Sounds strange I know but a handy feature now and again. Build quality is excellent and has a premium look to it. I was so pleased with it that I bought a second one to use with my laptop also. Highly recommended.

Advantages: Ergonomic. extra functionality Disadvantages: Bulky, takes a while to get used to
I got this keyboard when I started feeling pain in my wrists. It was supposed to offer a more natural position for the hands.
I have to admit that, although awkward at first, it is a very good keyboard. There is a very nice feel to it, and the hands are well positioned. There is a bit of a learning curve especially if you do not touch-type but after a week or so you soon forget that it is even split.
The strain on the wrists is very limited. It ... ...There are quite a few extra buttons which can be mapped to specific actions. Although I don't use them much, the functionality does come handy say, if you use virtual desktops.
I would recommend getting one for work and the office as well. I sometimes change from ergonomic to standard keyboard, and it takes me a while to readjust.
