As you might know, Microsoft displayed among the years a certain concern for input devices such as mouse and keyboards. You may even recall the fact that the first ergonomically keyboard came from Microsoft and Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 follow the same evolution trend.

The product is build around the great idea to not force the hand to stay horizontally. You cat try to see what position is much comfortable, while horizontally or vertically while the small finger it's down. The mouse is quite tall and it grabs from the right side and so the hand it positioned as close to a vertical position.
This concept is quite laudable because medically speaking it removes some tensions in the hands muscles (Extensor Carpi Radialis and Brachio radialis) ans improves the comfort of using the Mouse. I also recommend to read the instruction about using that Microsoft included it the package and to respect them for best usage of this special mouse.

I've tested this mouse in about everything application, especially shooter games and after the initial period of accommodation I've started to really appreciate this mouse. Also I like the fact that the mouse works from a large distance from the receiver (2-3 meters), from my bead I mean, and a Shut Down computer when I'm sleepy, without get up of my bed is just perfect.
The design of this mouse is just great, very comfy and lightweight a top product.

The great stuff:
  • The vertical holding position is quite comfortable.
  • High definition laser technology for the best wireless connection
  • Perfect battery life, over 6 months with two AA Alkaline batteries
  • Great design and build quality
  • 5 configurable buttons.
  • Rubber side grips
  • Scrolling wheel (4-way)
  • Battery indicator

The not so great stuff:
  • require some accommodation
  • some will not like it :)

Conlusion: Great mouse once you accommodate with the hand position

I use a standard wireless mouse and can't imagine having to use my old, cable mouse. Not sure how I would like this - I'd like to try it though!
