feel the need to describe each application in detail, since this is done better by Microsoft themselves on their website or sites such as Amazon. Suffice to say I think these are the best versions so far both in terms of stability and functionality. The power available in Excel especially, which most people will never fully exploit, is quite excellent. I also like the customisable nature of everything, from the menu items to individual toolbar buttons. In fact, almost everything you can see on the screen in every application.
The Student and Teacher Edition contains the same full versions of the 2003 editions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as are found in Office2003 Standard, at around a third of the price. When I bought my DELL XPS, the application is already installed and thus I did not have to install them myself. But from the installation guidance given, the process of installation sees to be easy to follow and thus need no hassle. MicrosoftOffice Home and Student to me is very user-friendly, even to new computer user. Apart from microsoft word which we can use from writing essays to making posters, both microsoft powerpoint and microsoft excel is also useful for students. In comparison with the previous version of microsoftoffice home and student, this version is more modern and thus caters to the needs of students nowadays. This version of MicrosoftOffice, despite being a bit pricy, is worth the investment as it gives its users more; in terms of quality and usage. ...
Advantages: New look, good for beginners, easy to instal, more professional tools Disadvantages: Slower then the old one, hard to find sertain things in the new menus
going through the menus. I was amazed on how much you could do with it. The only downside of this new menu style is that some of the things i was used to lookup in the much faster menus are now devided, and some times hard to find.
Other then that, i like the new way microsoft has turned with this office. Keep it up! ...
