Am impressed with what microsoft designed you sure would love it if you happened to be one of those that like going for every and anything new.......... come on! a brilliant mind did came up with these modifications only there are lots of BUTS to this brilliancy. I'll tell you what i think , in the quest to improve on previous version microsoft has only succeeded in giving us a really cool environment to work in while entirely removing that EASE with which you normally feel when working on previous versions.
Call me 'old fashioned' if you like, but have you really done a job where you have a dead line hanging over you head and you are (let me say "unfortunately') presented with this MS pro 2007 to work with? you would be lucky to finish in time. What were they thinking when designing it? is it that turning the inside out would give a better result? gee!! not for me at least because, what i feel working with the product is CLUMSINESS, i practically have to look for almost every thing(buttons) to carry out some functions ( THANK GOD FOR SOME SHORT CUTS).
One good thing that was done on it anyways, is the fact that you are presented with different "Save AS" options. But take my advice, if you have to work with MS office professional 2007, be sure you save your documents with the "97 - 2003" option because God help you if you are sending that finished document to someone like myself who has decided to stick with MS office 2003 ( atmost 2005) and believe it or not there are quite a number out there.
I'm using Office 2003 Professional myself . . . my friend sent me a 'new' doc and it had an x after it . . . l couldn't even open it at the library! . . . ♥ jes ♥

I agree, I hate Office 2007, it's confusing and looks nasty like 1990s shareware, am sticking with Office 2003!
