Having installed Office 2003 a little under a year ago, my first impression was that it was slow and clunky. It turns out that I needed more RAM in the system, so poped in another 512Mb and the speed is no longer an issue.
I was very pleased with the look and feel of the package, which i felt was a vast improvement on previous versions. In particular, Outlook 2003 has many improved features such as the way emails are grouped by date, with the ability to expand and collapse the groups to only show what you want to see at any given time. Enhanced junk filters and security features keep your emails and machines safe from email based bugs and trackers. Any bugs or trackers are blocked on receipt, before they have a chance to share information about you.
The whole package shares a common look and feel, while still retaining the familiar layout , toolbars and menus.
Access to online help directly from any of the applications is a bonus when your are trying to remember how to perform a particular task. Using this takes you to the Microsof support site, which is packed with huge amounts of information and features .

Welcome to Ciao. This is fine as far as it goes, but you need to explain more about the component programmes incorporated into the Office package. Duncan
