Advantages: Good design, not cluttered, interaction with Vista features
Disadvantages: cost, lacking of essiential buttons on word by deafult, can be confusing

It is quite different from the 97-2003 versions of Office and Excel, Access and Outlook are much more user friendly in this new package. Word has been completely re-designed , but has one or two major flaws. The standard toolbar/menu does not have printing options or save as. you have to add them yourself! Also the documentation and the saving window does not make it clear, that unless you save in 97-2003 format , no one other than those with Word ...
...download a patch from Microsoft's web site! power point is the main disappointment, it look very similar to the 2003 version. Outlook has a business contact manger utilities and allows one to cross reference activities with the whole of MS Office. One Note and Groove are rather confusing, and I have not mastered these yet.. Well i went from Office 2003 to this and it is in my opinion excellent, at first it can be a little confusing. if you use outlook for e mail then you have lots of options. MS word is very snazzy and easy to navigate as is the rest of MS Office.
