Windows 7 is the eagerly awaited new operating system by Microsoft that aims to take computing to the next level. There has been less improvements made than the change from Windows XP to Vista, however, it is clear that there has been a big emphasis put on ease of use and performance etc. Everything within the operating system is just geared towards 'ease of use' and for that reason I really liked it and would recommend it thoughrally. There have been a variety of features that make it an excellent and worthwhile upgrade but the main new beneift is the interface. There has been enhanced security made and the home networking etc is now so easy to establish which i just great for a home.
I have been trying the RC home premium version and I have to say I really like it, it is available to preorder from places such as Amazon for a most agreable price of £75 for the home edition. I believe that this really represents good value and I could not recommend it more in terms of it being a worthwhile upgrade. As I said however I do wish that there had been more new features but I am still pleased with the outcome. Unlike many of the previous editions of Windows this was remarkably quick to be released. If you are seriously considering getting this new version of Windows I would really recommend seeing if your computer is compatable first or not. I can see that this is going to be a popular upgrade given the main advantage of the speed performance increase and indeed the price. On a final note from what I have been hearing from certain individuals including Chris Pirillo, this is what Vista should have been!
On another note, the new themes, including screensavers and wallpapers are better than ever and it really helps to make your computer more personalised! I hope this was useful and thank you very much for reading this.
