Proit looks nice

Consit is unreliable and unpredictable

Why I Upgraded I recently upgraded from Windows XP Home Edition to Windows Vista, the reason for the upgrade was simply because I got a new laptop and it came with Windows Vista. If I had not have needed the new laptop then I probably would not have paid to upgrade to Vista, this is mostly...

ConsProbably not to everyones needs/taste

Making the transition from Windows XP to Windows Vista, it was not a verdict I wanted to make lightly when it came to giving my final opinion on this new product, and that is why after now having experienced Windows Vista Home Basic it is about time to finally tell you about it. Thinking of my...

ProLooks good, Lots of different programmes.

ConsHard to get used too.

Windows Vista Layout: The layout of Windows Vista is very sleek but it is quite complicated to get used to at first! The desktop layout can be changed to a variety of colours to make it more personal to the user, and I think that this is a good adaptation to other Windows programmes. On the main...

Well, are you thinking of getting vista? Well a few things you might want to know before you decide. Vista home basic is well, basic. Maybe suitable for the basic user who has no idea how there pc is working. Its security is regarded by Microsoft as the best yet. Maybe so, but when things go...

Right, Vista - Probably one of the most hated operating systems Microsoft has ever made... But not by me! I love it! I first got Windows Vista when I bought my eMachines E520 (I also have a review of that on my profile), which came pre-installed with Vista Home Basic. First of all, I noticed that...

I would not recommend to new users to upgrade from Windows XP to Vista as there are so many issues with this software. There are many compatibility issues that the Vista has with other softwares, it makes you wonder if Microsoft is intentionally creating this in order that the competitors are...

I have always been a huge fan of Windows XP, which was easy to use, pretty to look at, fast, and just *worked*, and never gave me any problems whatsoever. I wouldnt have "updated" to Vista if I could have avoided it, but my next PC came bundled with it so I ended up giving it a try. What's the...

Windows Vista is a great looking operating system, it has the same simplicity as Windows XP, all the layout of the start up menu and other apllication are the same, but they look more impressive because of the better graphics used. the downfall of Vista is that some harware may not function with the new vista, personally I bought a wireless keyboard/mouse and it worked when I had XP, but was faulty with windows vista. My advice would be if you buy Vista make shore that all your hardware is compatable with vista, do some reseach and I don't see you having any problems. Overall 8/10 for Vista, great looking and has all the qualities as XP and a little more. Give it a chance!

ProQuicker. More enjoyable to use.

ConsToo expensive. Still a few errors.

I must say I was thinking if I should up grade to Windows Vista from XP. After borrowing the software from a friend I can say that it has been worth it. Although I would say I wouldnt pay more then £80 for the software. For me XP was great. Ok there may have been a few bugs in it (which you may...
