require large amounts of memory and floating point performance in areas such as mechanical design and analysis, 3-D animation, video editing and composition, and scientific and high-performance computing applications. The performance of 64-bit computing offers advantages in fields such as automobile or airplane design, by allowing engineers to create larger, more complex models. With such systems, engineers can use simulation software to analyze the effects of airflow, stress, and heat on materials of a car or plane, and then study the results to improve product design. Likewise, 64-bit computing is a benefit for digital content creators, including 3-D animators, digital artists, and game developers who can significantly reduce the time spent to digitally render three-dimensional models. In the areas of scientific and high performance computing, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition will aid in oil and gas exploration, seismic analysis, computational fluid dynamics and scientific visualization among other applications. Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) offers advanced security tools and technologies in addition to the latest updates from Microsoft. Windows XP SP2 enables you to defend your systems and information against threats by giving you more control over the security features and tools in Windows XP.

You can set up new user accounts at the touch of a button, you can set-up a new Network, you have a choice of new games like Spider Solitaire. Windows XP also protects against Blue Screen Crashes which oftenly appeared in Windows 3.x, 95, 98 And 98SE. Since that time Microsoft have been bringing out 2 versions of everything they do. Windows XP Requires quite a big portion of the HDD (Hard Disk Drive) just to install extra features. Windows are getting too popular why cant they move over and let the UNIX people make their success within the computer trade.
***Windows XP Speed*** Windows XP is the fastest Windows to start up at only 9.23 seconds according to a Microsoft Spokesperson at a national conference. Windows XP Professional is the quickest to boot even on a slow Pentium 166 Processor.
***Windows XP Features*** Windows XP has this many new additional features from Making your own movie to copying music to the hard disk using Windows Media Player 8.0.
***Windows XP Similar To*** Windows XP is simiar to Windows NT (SP4) and Windows 2000. They have all the same capabilities such as Dial-up Networking, Switch the users over quickly, you could even lock the work station so no one has access whilst you are away.
***Windows XP Colour Scemes*** Windows XP has a new array of colour schemes to fit to your desktop, folders and Sub-Folders. I like the Field colour scheme which is Blue and Green.
***Windows XP Hyperlink System*** Windows XP has a new unique way of Guaranteing that you have quick access to all files and folders. Say for example you wanted to Go to the OLD "My Documents Folder" and you really needed to go to the "My Networks Folder" you wouldn't need to keep on hitting the back tab at the top of the page or type in the directory in the address tab. on the left hand side it would give you instant access to what you need.
***Windows XP Is it User Friendly?*** It depends on what you want it to do. If you want to find out how to install a new hardware device it would go through it with you in easy steps which would make it easier for you. It is like Ciao. People will help you learn from your Errors and Mistakes.

Advantages: GUI interface allows easy use of all features Disadvantages: Configuration can be a problem
This operating system is the latest Win32 based platform offered by Microsoft. It allows intermediate users to execute tasks without any complications and does so in a methodical fasion.
Easy network setup and configuration, also included WiFi setup. Security can be an issue if not configured correctly. therefore, certain wizards can be a disadvantage.
Plug and play is one of the best versions I have used allowing driver searches to take place ... ...warning messages can be displayed when not required. Good feature though!
Service pack 1 certainly cured several problems, but fixes are now available with this service pack
Service pack 2 has caused many users different types of problems. I have had a few problems, but nothing to serious as yet.

Tough MicrosoftWindows Vista is a super star for Windows lovers, I see MicrosoftWindows Experience (XP) still exists in its fans? personal computers. Since XP was launched, the operating system (OS) has been revised twice, namely XP Service Pack 1 and XP Service Pack 2 ? and some resources say that Service Pack 2 (SP2) is the last revision or update for XP, and Microsoft is concentrating on their new popular OS ? some Vista editions.
And some XP users who have purchased the earlier versions of XP, they can download the SP2 on Microsoft official site. Certainly this service is free of charge!

Advantages: Better Firewall and Wireless Networking Disadvantages: With Sp2 Not much Difference in the Performance
Ihave been using the windowsXP for a while now.As I think its one of the most reliable Operating system that are available aropund the market at present. after the release of the XP SP2 it has become more reliable but I don't find much enhancement in it performance.
Servicepack 2 included with numerous bug fix which makes the OS more stable and in some respect solid.with the enhanced firewall settings really discourages the hackers in some respect.
Now again after the release of SP3 Microsoft has proved its point on the flaws and enhancements of some of its targeted features.there are few points that i am going to include in this review which I found necessary for the users to know about the new XP SP3.okay first of all I am going to talk about the new pop up blocker in the IE6 which is I think is a great help for the users. As we all ...
