Advantages GUI interface allows easy use of all features

Disadvantages Configuration can be a problem

This operating system is the latest Win32 based platform offered by Microsoft. It allows intermediate users to execute tasks without any complications and does so in a methodical fasion.

Easy network setup and configuration, also included WiFi setup. Security can be an issue if not configured correctly. therefore, certain wizards can be a disadvantage.

Plug and play is one of the best versions I have used allowing driver searches to take place online. Compatability of drivers are also good, but certain warning messages can be displayed when not required. Good feature though!

Service pack 1 certainly cured several problems, but fixes are now available with this service pack

Service pack 2 has caused many users different types of problems. I have had a few problems, but nothing to serious as yet.

Good alround platform with a great deal of potential if worked on.
