Laser Mouse from Microsoft is seriously worth considering. This mouse, which uses High Definition Laser technology, has a user-friendly design with a 4-directional scroll wheel, four programmable buttons and even a zoom function, allowing you to work on the smallest details of your documents. I've been using a Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 for about 6 months.

Advantages: Overall, a nice mouse Disadvantages: Scrolling is as good as impossible to dio with any accuracy

Firstly, the wheel has no form of click or feedback like all other wheels I have used when scrolling. This makes trying to navigate ... ...has a mind of it's own. It will often scroll several pages when you want to move a few lines. I've tried adjusting settings like sensitivity and accelration rate to no avail.
In summary, when browsing pages with this mouse you have to end up using the scroll buttons on your keyboard. For this reason I give the mouse 2 instead of 4 stars. Buy with caution! ...

Advantages: Fulfills exactly what you would expect Disadvantages: Not cheap
I have a problem with my wrist (carpel tunnel syndrome) which means using a traditional mouse leaves me aching in a very short time. Some very detailed research must have been undertaken when designing this mouse as although it doesn't look particularly any different to others, it feels comfortable and I can use it for hours without any after-effects on my once-painful wrist. I don't use a mouse pad with any wrist support yet I still find it no problem ...
