This mouse incorportates the new microsoft bluetrack tewchonolgy which is supposed to make it work on anything including carpet however one major thing it does not work with is glass or other reflective surfaces. However even though it has this problem when working on other surfaces this mouse is responsive!.

Unlike laser or optical the beam that comes out of the sensor is blue, hence BLUEtrack technology and it uses an LED unlike the also accurate laser which uses a dangerous to the eye laser beam to sense.

The sensor is supposed to be accurate and it is very accurate i tried to use it on carpet and it is also extremelly sensitive. This is particulary good for any pc gamer as sensitivity is very important, however i would recommend it to gamers who allso do work as this mouse is not built for gaming and it is also not comfartable for gaming.

If you have small hands then in my opinion you shouldn't use this mouse as it feels abnormally large and it also feels as if was built for people with massive hands as it is quite a stretch for your fingers. There is also a problem here that your finger can rub on the right side button which can be quite annoying as it is used to navigate though internet pages that is if you press it it goes forward.

Also unlike other mice I have used this was the first mouse to give me hand strain after I had used it for a long time this is due to the largeness of it which forces you to stretch your fingers. The first time I have used this mouse it felt very weird however you do become accustom to it after a about a week of use.

The mouse is easy to set up requiring really only to insert two AA batteries (however it can work also with one which I do not get) and only inserting the 2.4GHz wireless reciever to a usb port. The reciever has an excellent range I could walk a considerable distance before it went out of range. However it does prompt you to insert download some drivers.

Overall this mouse is very responsive due to the blue track technology however I would not recommend this to anyone who is a hardcore gamer or has a glass computer stand. I would also in my opinion not recommend it to anyone who has small hands due to the size of the mouse.
