With the included software, it is possible to change the default key allocations for both the options keys (along the top) or the function keys, as you wish. In fact, there is almost too much choice. Thankfully. it is easy to reset everything back to the default settings if you get confused, as I did initially.

In addition, the multitude of shortcut keys available make for quick and easy access to various options such as volume control for the PC speakers, opening and closing media drives (CD/DVD) and opening default folders such as My Documents.
With the included software, it is possible to change the default key allocations for both the options keys (along the top) or the function keys, as you wish. In fact, there is almost too much choice. Thankfully. it is easy to reset everything back to the default settings if you get confused, as I did initially.
The wireless connection between keyboard and receiver has given me no problems in three months use. However, the mouse seems to momentarily lose its connection if I type too fast. I am not a true touch-typist but do use both hands and can type fairly quickly at times. The connection seems to return without intervention after a short pause in typing but the software does open up a dialogue box asking if you want to change the wireless channel etc. This needs to be cancelled to continue typing, something of a nuisance. However, this only happens occasionally and is not a major disadvantage, in my opinion.
