Advantages Advantages Less Risk of RROD, internal storage built in

Disadvantages Disadvantages sensitive touch buttons, installing games takes a while

When I bought this Product Around October 2011 I had been viewing trailers and game play videos for the game Forza Motorsport 4 and decided that I would buy myself one providing they weren’t too expensive. I saw that they were selling them for £149.99 in Argos and were also doing an offer where you got Forza 4 included for free which I thought was very reasonable as I’m sure that the game had only been out no longer than a month or two. My Experience / Features I bought this from Argos and started to set it up as soon as I got home, it was very easy to set up and took me through all the steps ... more

Advantages Advantages Fast, excellent graphics, Good online gaming experience, choice of white or black

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive in comparison, got to buy additional hardware for additonal features!

Remember the time when the market was dominated by Sega and Nintendo, and everyone had their own favourite. It was always a 50-50 split, one half saying the Sega is the best and the other half saying Nintendo is the best. That also led to everyone having a favourite character, Mario or Sonic. Well...welcome to the 21st century, and the new battle, Sony Playstation vs. Microsoft Xbox. These 2 manufacturers have been at war for the past decade, and they have made consoles that we would have never thought possible 10 years ago. And ever since entering the market, they have constantly improved ... more

Advantages Advantages New wireless ability, better looks, and bigger hard-drive!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Sensitive buttons arn't necessary, no new software.

I purchased one these new(ish) 'Slim' xbox 360's very recently from a friend who hadn't even removed the console from its original packaging. This, therefore means I have effectively experienced the console from a new state (crucially without having to deal with any real retailers, and the complications which can arrise there after). I would have to say though that the only disadvantage to buying from a friend is the lack of any warrenty, or money back guarentee if things do go wrong... luckily my encounter with the device didn't end this way! The exterior look and feel of the product is to my ... more

Advantages Advantages Good looking console, Varied choice of games to play, Nice user interface, Built in wi fi

Disadvantages Disadvantages 4GB of memory is not enough, Console sound is still very loud whilst playing a game on disc

Introduction The Xbox 360 Slim is Microsoft’s new and updated slimline Xbox 360 console, it was released on the June 18th 2010. I used to own a old style original Xbox 360 and to be honest apart from once getting the red ring of death error and having to send my console away to be repaired that original Xbox was terrific it did what I wanted from a current generation games console and it had some great games to be played on the system. I ended up with some spare money left over for once reason or another and I thought that I liked the look of the newer slim model and was pleased to hear that ... more

Advantages Advantages Slimmer but not by much, sleeker, glossy, ....

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not as such but the Slim console is not actually that much slimmer than the predecessor.

Please bear in mind this review is for a 250GB console. The 4GB console is more suited to players not wanting to use it for downloading and saving games to the hard drive whereas a 250GB allows you to do this more freely. XBOX 360 Slim I have to start this off by saying that however much more sleek and nicer this is than the original XBOX 360 it is not that much slimmer! We have owned an XBOX Slim for roughly seven months now and it has been a really good experience. My son had an XBOX 360 previous to this one and when it broke after three maybe four years I bought him this for his birthday ... more
