Advantages friendly, polite people
Disadvantages don't seem to solve problems quickly
The nightmare begins....
I upgraded to XBOX Live gold in January 2008, as part of a promotion to receive 500 free points to spend in the arcade.
So, a few weeks had passed,and I still had not received my points.
So, that resulted in the first call to the XBOX 360 Customer Support.
So, 3 days pass, and I decide to phone again, to be told the exact same thing I was already told- the issue would be investigated. So, 3 days later I am none the wiser.
I was additionally told this time however, it would be passed on to the head of Microsoft Support, to find out exactly what was wrong.
I was wrong... it is now April, and the issue has still not been resolved.
Give them their due, they did phone me on the day the offer ended, and told me I would have the points within 28 days.... 28 days came and gone, and still no sign of these 500 free points.
When I phone, I am always speaking to someone within 1 minute, which is rather good, and they people are very friendly, and polite.
I now await with interest to see if I finally get the points, and to whether my view of the XBOX Support will change massively.. for the better!
