Advantages friendly, polite people

Disadvantages don't seem to solve problems quickly

The nightmare begins....
I upgraded to XBOX Live gold in January 2008, as part of a promotion to receive 500 free points to spend in the arcade.
So, a few weeks had passed,and I still had not received my points.
So, that resulted in the first call to the XBOX 360 Customer Support.

I was re-assured several times that the issue would be investigated, and that I was to ring back in 3 days to find out the latest.

So, 3 days pass, and I decide to phone again, to be told the exact same thing I was already told- the issue would be investigated. So, 3 days later I am none the wiser.
I was additionally told this time however, it would be passed on to the head of Microsoft Support, to find out exactly what was wrong.

This time, I agreed with the , as I personally believed that this would be sorted.

I was wrong... it is now April, and the issue has still not been resolved.
Give them their due, they did phone me on the day the offer ended, and told me I would have the points within 28 days.... 28 days came and gone, and still no sign of these 500 free points.

In this review however, I am not going to be totally critical of the service, as it does have some good points.

When I phone, I am always speaking to someone within 1 minute, which is rather good, and they people are very friendly, and polite.

I now await with interest to see if I finally get the points, and to whether my view of the XBOX Support will change massively.. for the better!

    l'm a little confused ~ you have paid extra for customer service and 500 arcade points which were not awarded during the offer period. As l understand it, the only reason you have contacted them is concerning these missing points; not concerning the XBOX? and although nothing done they are polite? . . . . ~ ! ♥♥ ! ~ ........................................​................... ~ jes ~ ! ♥♥ ! ~

    Nice review, i have had no trouble at all with the customer service. When my 360 stopped working, i rung up, there was someone here to collect it within 45 minutes and i had it back within 4 days. With a complimentary 1 month subscription to xbox live gold.
