The Xbox 360 120GB removable hard drive is a great item to buy for any Xbox 360 gamer. The larger hard drive has become even more useful with the coming of the ability to buy or rent movies via the Xbox Live Marketplace. Considering each movie is around 1GB in size (and even larger if downloaded in HD) conventional size Hard Drives will rapidly be eaten up.
The removable hard drive is also extremely easy to use, it slides clips on the size of the Xbox 360 console, and absolutely no further setup is required. It is equally as easy to remove, you simply have to push in the button and lift it out of position. Its relatively small size then comes in handy, as you can carry it to your friends house and fit it on their console. All of your game saves and your gamercard can now be accessed on their console and provided they have access to Xbox Live so will all of your downloaded content. It is also completely safe, none of your game saves, or your precious gamercard, will be lost in the process.
Overall this is a great idea by Microsoft and definately worth a buy for anyone who finds themselves downloading from the Marketplace on a regular basis. Although the price is a bit steep in my and many other people's opinion it is currently the biggest storage device compatible with the Xbox 360, and so is good value for money, especially when Microsoft sell 512MB Memory Cards for around £20.
