The Xbox Advanced SCART Cable connects the console to TVs equipped with a SCART input terminal and enables RGB video signals for improved video output. This cable also provides a... more...digital output for use with digital audio receivers.
Advantages: Far better picture than standard composite, better looking games Disadvantages: Expensive, Only needed for larger screens 32" or greater
After the release of the little white bundle of joy on the 8/12/2006 people were given a composite cable to show off their new shinny new console.
AV enthusiasts all know a composite signal is the poor quality option for showing video on their TV's - what people really want is RGB or Componentvideo input.
As console manufactures are out to make a profit they usually bundle the cheapest and most compatible option with the console and then release upgrades to that product for people who need or want it. Nintendo understand this and have released two video upgrade options - the Wii RGB cable or the Wii Componentcable.
Lets get things straight from the off, The Nintendo Wii is not a High Definition Console, What this cable does offer is a enhanced image resolution of 480p.

The Xbox 360 Componentcable is vital if you want to see your Xbox 360 games in high definition. This cable is included in the box with any Xbox 360 Premium or Elite system but if you have a Core or Arcade system you and an HDTV you will want to get one.
Appearance:
The cable is around 3 metres long and is grey in colour, the ends are clearly marked with colours so you can easily identify which part of the cable is which. There is also a Microsoft sticker on there just to remind you that you have purchased the real deal. Pretty standard cable looks!

Advantages: perfect picture, not to pricey, Disadvantages: Only for HDTV,too many wires,
What a excellent way of getting a perfect picture during game play, this HD AVcable brings your high quality images too your HD TV.
I have one my self and belive me this brings your games too life, things you dont normal see on a standard AVcable, you wont be looking at that monster your about too kill you will be looking at how detailed for example, the grass looks, or the hairs on somones arm. it really picks up on these small ellements.
Unfortunaly this doesnt support HD Movies which was a down side too this HD cable but this is because of the new HD drive thats out on the xbox 360, I would highly recommend buying this cable if you own a HD TV because your gaming experiance will be a whole lot better visually aswell as graphically.
*Supports upto 1080 HD format ...
