comptition with the ps2 this console is know as the ultimate online multiplayer console (before the 360 came out) and was know as the the 360's prototype the xbox includes game memory storage whereas on the PS2 you need a memory card it can store music but you cant on the PS2 it can also store a list of friends so you can play with them and see what they are up to as a down side though the graphics on most games were poor and with nintendo coming back into the gaming industries with the DS and SONY with the PSP xbox really needed to pull out there finger with the XBOX 360 but still no much for there eager competitors SONY with the PS3

rumors say that microsoft will be bringing a portable console out soon
