The ADF-650 is a 50-page Automatic Document Feeder offering a high-capacity document scanning solution for a very low price. The ADF-650 is Microtek's first document feeder to offer a really powerful solution for office environments. For example, load the feeder with your printed documents, press the OCR button on the front of the scanner and let ScanWizard, with its built-in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) system do all the hard work for you. In fact, you can configure the OCR button to deliver formatted text direct into your preferred word processor, or have it deliver a converted acrobat file or even as HTML code in your Web browser. The ADF-650 can also be configured to simply scan and print the pages like a photocopier, or attach them to an e-mail, or simply just scan and store them.
Advantages: saves time manual scanning Disadvantages: a bit noisy and quite expensive
...This documentfeeder is a handy product which currently costs about GBP160 to buy. It is cheaper in the US at $199.
WHAT IS IT?
The HP Scanjet Automatic DocumentFeeder attaches to HP Scanjets and is compatible with the Scanjet 5100, 5200, 6200 and 6300 series scanners. It then scans documents automatically.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
You put up to 25 pages of loose paper in it and click a button. The loose pages will then be scanned into your computer. Wow! Now if you only scan one document a day, you might not want to shell out £160 for one of these, but if you do a lot of it, or pay someone to stand over a scanner and do it for you, the economics of this might start to make sense.
INSTALLATION:
Attaching it to your scanner is simple: you take the original lid of your scanner off by lifting it vertically and the docment...

Advantages: Affordable, solid, good quality and you can rest cups of tea on top! Disadvantages: Sometimes slow to scan and other scanners do have better quality
...We have had out Microtek Scanmaker 3600 for well over 5 years now and it is still going strong and doing the job for our entire family. I'm not sure how much we paid for it, but it was not a lot because we just wanted a basic scanner that could scan in documents. It is very reliable, easy to use, with a suitable range of features but has the tendency to be a bit slow occasionally.
1. Looks, Design and Size
The scanner is fairly good looking, quite elegant and fairly compact. It measures approximately 17" long, 10" across and 4" high so can fit into most desktop areas. It has a solid build to it and rather funky curve on the lid that gives it some added style. Furthermore, the main surface is flat and you can easily rest your cup of tea, lunch or bits of paper on top! The white colour is easy on the eye and fits in to most rooms...

Advantages: Value for money, simple and easy Disadvantages: Not high end printer or photo printer
...I have been using this Laserjet Printer since a while. This was my first laserjet printer that replaced my old Dotmatrix printer. It has been a dramatic shift in a way i used to do printing of my documents earlier and now. The speed and ease of printing with this printer is enormous. The Cost of printing also comes out to be reasonably less looking at the amount of printing is done at my home, as my husband is used to take prints of his work at home as well.
* The printer comes with a setup CD that contains Driver for this Series of HP printers. There are few other applications as well which are not mush of interest of many people. The printer is high speed USB printer. The setting up of this printer very easy. Its just a plug and play device just plug the USB cable to USB port and power on the printer, the computer finds the device...
