~ Slide with the Time ~

Advantages: Excellent story, Great acting, funny.
Disadvantages: None

~ Slide with the Time ~ Last night I went to visit my mum like I do most Mondays. Since moving I always dedicate a weekday to see her. After catching up and having a rant about the most common crap things in life we wanted something good to watch. Sliding Doors has been out for over ten years and we have watched it about twenty times but it is still really good, and one of those films you can watch however many times. We do actually own the film on VHS somewhere which shows how old it is. I remember first watching it on TV though a few years ago. There are some recognisable actors involved and I quite like Gwyneth Paltrow. I think she is a very good actress and even though she does not appear in big blockbusters, all her films are soft and well performed. Canon LiDE 35 Scanner

Advantages: lightweight, fast and easy to set up and use. nice slimline design.
Disadvantages: None that I have found

A few months ago my old Agfa Snapscan 1212 gave up the ghost. Not surprising because I've had it since? it's been that long I honestly can't remember! It was in PCWorld that I first looked at the Canon LiDE35 - I'm afraid I wanted this machine so badly, I didn't shop around and bought it there and there. I loved its slim looks and the fact that it didn't need it's own power supply. It works directly from the USB connection. The scanner was well packaged in a nice strong box with a carry handle that I found handy to keep it stored when it's not in use. The software was child's play to load and easy to understand. It also linked itself to my Photographic ...

Sliding Doors

Advantages: Easy To Watch
Disadvantages: Nothing Fantastic

Sliding Doors is a film which brings to the screens the question ?what if?? it was released in 1998 and is still managing to bring in plenty of viewers due to its unique story and layout which has been copied, but not as successfully, since. What?s it all about? The movie is a romance story about Helen, the film follows her in her struggles through her life, work and especially her love life. The starting and main point of the film is at the beginning, she is catching a train which turns out to be a major pinpoint of her life. The film is then split into two stories, one in which follows on from her catching the train, and one of which follows on from her missing the train. This small event in Helen?s life changes everything and the consequences of either one is flashed back to throughout the film, and she experiences ...
