Nikon Coolpix S1

Advantages: Small, compact and very easy to use!
Disadvantages: Old, not as good as more recent cameras.

just slide in and out of your pocket, and it also gives it a sturdy feel. I've dropped this camera I can't count how many times, but it still works absolutly fine, albeit with a few nicks and scratches! The screen is more than adequate at 2.5 inches, and comes in handy when taking pictures and reviewing what you've captured; a bigger screen always helps! The camera only have a few buttons, all of which are self explanatory, and most useful of all, the actual capture button is the biggest of the lot, so it's obvious which one to press (something which i've often found difficult with some cameras) In terms of features, the S1 is quite well catered for. It has three modes, automatic, pre-programmed mode, and video. The video is about the quality you'd expect, not great, but definitely at an average level (it records at a resolution of 640x480 ...

You'll Take It and Love It!

Advantages: Funny, will make you laugh out loud
Disadvantages: None I can think of

I am quite a fan of the Little Black Dress series of books, so I decided to have a browse on Amazon for ones which sounded like a good read. I came across this one after a while, and it had rave reviews. Also, on a book forum I am a member of, they couldn't recommend it highly enough to me so I decided I would have to get it to have a go. And as usual, the book didn't disappoint! "She'll Take It" tells us the story of Melanie Zeitgar, a woman living in New York City with dreams of becoming a world famous actress. But Melanie has a downfall...she has a penchant for stealing things. Not enormously expensive items you understand, just the odd sweater from Barneys or the odd pillow from the Homewares shop. But Melanie can't stop, even when a man comes into her life whose job in life is to help shops detect thieves. Will he suss out ...

Leica S1

Advantages: from Studio direkt to CMYK, superior image quality
Disadvantages: thetered camera, needs continuous light

This is LeicaŽs very first selfmade digital camera. With the LEICA S 1 Pro, Leica Camera, Solms, has managed to further increase the imaging quality and productivity of the digital studio camera. This increase in performance is achieved with a remarkable sensor which results in a maximum data quality at a high signal to noise ratio. This has a4-fold increase in light sensitivity, meaning that even critical photographic situations at low levels of illumination can be handled more effectively. The photographer can use the modeling light of his or her existing studio flash equipment for taking the shots, for instance. The new sensor - including Binning and Anti-flicker - provides a 14 Bit signal for red, green and blue colours which is processed in a 16 bit data path. This results in clean colours without noise or blooming. All ...
