Microwave Blew Up after 2 years of light use!

Disadvantages: Blows Up! Very unsafe

In my opinion this microwave is really poor. I bought it in April 2007, and have only used it lightly, mostly as a microwave (barely using the convection oven and grill settings). The light bulb stopped working within a month or two of use, and the microwave blew up last month - there was a massive 'bang' with sparks flying, that tripped the electric. It is because Delonghi has explicitly declared that years ago, Delonghi microwave ovens are no longer manufactured by Delonghi but by Argos directly, using the Delonghi brand name. Review of Delonghi EM821AAN Microwave ONLY

A good machine. Especially for doing pizzas!

Advantages: Multi function, nice looking, great pizza function
Disadvantages: none that I can see.

The review above really makes me want to use it more. I use it as a microwave normally, but also use the pizza function which turns out great pizzas crispy and lovely in the provided pizza pan, in 6 minutes. You also get a wire rack to raise things up to grill on, and I have done some quick fire bacon in it in the mornings. In fact this is the only item in my current kitchen I want to keep and move to my new house, and I would have no hesitation ...
