It looks great, it saves space and it works like a dream! I found this microwave on the which website as a best buy, and fell in love with it straight away! Usually when things look a little off-beat, their function is average at best. Not with this microwave! It's outstanding! I bought it from John Lewis for £130. ...for small kitchens! The buttons are along the top so you don't have the side panel taking up extra room. As it is a small microwave, you can fit a dinner plate in it, but if you're one of those mythical people who cook a turkey in their microwave, you might have trouble fitting it in. Advantages: EASY, QUICK, SIMPLE TO CLEAN, GOOD VIEW OF INTERIOR ETC.
Disadvantages: NONE REALLY - EXCEPT THE "enamel" turntable doesn't seem to be.

I think it is about time this review was removed. The Solardom is very exciting and I cannot wait to get home and start cookin' [I also use my microwave oven]. My only problem is that the instructions are a bit complicated and am constantly consulting the manual to see what programming to use! ...as the day I unwrapped it. Very easy to clean and looks fab, far more expensive than it actually is! I must say though it doesn't have the biggest capacity,it suits our family of three. If your family is larger and/or you use it to cook meals regulary then you should probably look at getting something a little bigger. A nice clean looking finish,easy to use microwave. Setting the timer is simplicity itself with clearly marked controls and the autocook works extremely well for me.The ability to set the power levels to change during a stage cook is a superb idea.
