A very easy to use Microwave Advantages: Easy to use Disadvantages: A little noisier than some microwave ovens ...in Asda and noticed this Sanyo EM- S105AW/AS priced at £39.99 and available in white or silver. After looking at one or two other microwaves available I decided on this one, purely because of the price, and also there was one on display on the shelf. It looked perfectly adequate for my requirements, which is mainly just the convenience and speed of heating things up. I also had a £20 Asda gift card to use, which would mean I only had to pay £19.99 ... ...very well inside the box. It was simply just a case of unpacking it and plugging it in. It comes with a full instruction manual. The two microwaves I have previously owned have both had digital displays, so this is the first one I have owned with dials instead. It seemed simple and straightforward enough, and after using it for a month I can confirm it is! The microwave is a 700W model. My previous one had a higher output, but to be honest this does ... Sanyo EMS3577 Advantages: excellent defrost options Disadvantages: having to re-enter time I have owned this for around 6 months and generally it has been very reliable. The speed defrost says exactly what it says on the tin and you can defrost most things in twice the time, effectively. This is a fairly basic model so you do get what you pay for. The only downside I find, is that often when you type in the desired time and press start, it will bleep and not start, you then have to reset and start again. A good machine. Especially for doing pizzas! Advantages: Multi function, nice looking, great pizza function Disadvantages: none that I can see. The review above really makes me want to use it more. I use it as a microwave normally, but also use the pizza function which turns out great pizzas crispy and lovely in the provided pizza pan, in 6 minutes. You also get a wire rack to raise things up to grill on, and I have done some quick fire bacon in it in the mornings. In fact this is the only item in my current kitchen I want to keep and move to my new house, and I would have no hesitation ... ...I just wish I could do all the stuff the last review said. I should use it more!!!! It has a nice defrost function too, when you say what you want defrosting and how much it weighs and what it is, and presto it picks the right time for you. Mine is built in, and its great. Ultimate microwave, great product, you won't regret the purchase Advantages: Heat time Disadvantages: Holes at top I have owned this microwave for a few months now and it well yes it is a microwave but it does so much more than just that. Since I bought it I have used all three functions which I shall comment on: Microwaving - This model is a whopping 1000w which is currently the most powerful setting you can get on a microwave this size, if you do require more (which I really doubt but if you do consider a wall built one), on average when cooking something microwaveable ... ...to get the same effect in obviously less time. Oven - The 1st time please read the manual and turn the oven on but with nothing inside as the oil used to protect the element has to evaporate (more on this is inside the manual) Grill - Grills perfect but some foods aren't meant for microwave cooking so please read the back of the food packet before you do so. Prestige CB130 Combination Microwave-looks aren't everything! Advantages: Cheap price for a stainless steel combination microwave oven. Disadvantages: Poor build quality and components.Cheap but not cheerful. Large & cumbersome ...manufacturers who make quality pans, but now I'm not sure it is the same company, and if it is, they need to stick to making pans.
