Advantages Advantages Middlesex is a big advantage!!!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not that I know of

Actually I am one of the postgraduate student of Middlesex University which I have to say I got out of this Uni what I ever wanted for my education. I started from 0 level upto 4 level. I obtained three different qualifications such as HND, B.Sc., M.Sc. I studied Networking for my M.Sc. and I have to say that all of the students on my year good excellent jobs and well paid. The University itself has good contacts with different companies and tutors helping you out to get to a good stage. Basically they provide and good support. Also there are a lot of funding courses going on but many people ... more

    Advantages Advantages Nice teachers

Disadvantages Disadvantages none i can think of

Well, where can I start? I started at Middlesex university in 2000 and honestly it has been the best 4 years of my life! Yeh ok, whatever people say about the reputation of the university, they don't really know because they never went to it!!! I am now in my final year, in my last semester and at the moment heading towards a good grade for my degree! ---The University--- There are many campuses based all around London. Some of them have closed and a couple more I believe are closing down soon. In my first year I was based at Bounds Green Campus, now lets be honest, those who have ever been ... more

Advantages Advantages meeting new people of many cultures, learning

Disadvantages Disadvantages bad accomodation....but good start for first year of meeting new friends

looking at all these cynical comments i feel it is my duty to give you the other side of the story, as there are always two. i currently live in a flat share in Arnos grove (2 tube stops from Trent Park campus). it is my first year and i decided not to live in halls as i took the time out to ask students questions about it. it costs £8.20 a week on my student LT card for as many travels as i want in zone 4 +5. the on site campus, Gubbay Halls, has been without heating for a few days, has asphestoss (you know that poisonous building material that gives you cancer...hey, i didnt study english so ... more

Advantages Advantages in London..if you like it

    Disadvantages Disadvantages scattered campuses

My first venture outside of my home town took me to Middlesex University.... I satyed in halls for the first year, at the Tottenham campus, which I must say was quite pleasent. My lectuers were however 30 min away by bus! on the Bounds green campus! This was a major drag. The Halls of residence, was not really colourful, I think there were only 6/10 asian/black students living on that campus out of over 300... The main problem with Middlesex University is that the while university is scattered over various parts of London, and depending on which campus you are based only interact with those ... more

Advantages Advantages Highly recognised for the performing arts

Disadvantages Disadvantages poor accomodation, badly organised

I'm in my first year at Middlesex studying Interdisciplinary Performance, which is a modern version of the old Performing Arts degree. I study at Trent Park which is the most beautiful campus set in many acres of grass and woodland...but I live in halls six mile away in Ponders End...There are halls on campus but two corridors of people share a bath (which is too disgusting to even use so some people keep goldfish in them...poor fish...), two showers and two toilets (which would not look out of place in a public toilet in Gosport High Street...) So as I wanted en-suite I deciced to live in ... more
