After buying 3 dysons and all 3 not lasting longer than 4 mths i decided to try a different make. What with having 2 dogs 1 a german shepherd what sheds hair like there is no tomorrow, the other luckily a short haired mongrel, but when she sheds she looses buckets full, plus 2 girls who dont care were they drop there wrappers and rubbish, we decided on the Miele cat and dog hoover.
This is a cylinder hoover with a bright red and black casing. It has moveable castors for easy moving, a handle for carrying, The accesories are easily stored within the body, an dusting brush, upholstery nozzle, crevize nozzle. It is powerful with a completely sealed system. It has a great air flow, for every type of carpet or floor surface. They are equipped with speed controls with different speeds, 300,500, 700, 900, 1200, 1600, the 1600 is great for dog hairs.The lower speed is great for delicate places, furnishing, curtains, etc.A telescopic suction tube which can be adjusted to working height. Thermal cut out indicator stopping it from over heating. Filtration with 3 different levels of filtration and enviromentaly friendly.
The dustbags help with filtration, and air flow so suction is more efficient,these are disposable and need replacing when full
The filtration system
1. Super air clean filter. Does the work of a normal cleaner, cleaning housedhold dust. This filter needs changing after every 5 bags.
2. Active air clean filter. This is combined with charcoal pellets which absorb odours, e.g. animals
3. Active hepa filter. Helps if anyone suffers with dust allergies.such as dust mites and pollen helping conditions like asthma and rhinitis.
These can be ordered by phone or order form and they promise you they are never out of stock.
A protective bumper strip. It has an average life of 20 years. Automatic cable rewind. It also has a bag indicator letting you know when the bag is full. Mine came with its own car care kit, a handy carrycase with all the attachments for the car Prices start from around £149.00. Well worth the money and does its job brilliantly.
This comes with instruction booklets and order forms..
I have found this hoover is easily handled, light enough to carry. It has a long lead which makes it easier to hoover in different rooms. We have had this hoover for nearly 2 years without any repairs. This is sturdy and can be stored easily in a small place, a very compact hoover. The only let down is the bag, fills up quickly plus you have to order the bags as i havent been able to find a stockist near to where i live.

Advantages: Unbreakable, don't worry about the dog chewing the hose or the kids jumping on it! Disadvantages: You can only buy the bags from Miele or John Lewis
