This awful freezer was replaced 3 times in two years (by Miele) and when the final replacement broke down we consigned it to the garden shed and bought a Bosch.
It was out of action for over 2 months in that period and lost a fortune in food, caused great stress, and we received appalling treatment ... Read review
"I BOUGHT THIS MODEL FREEZER ON 16/12/2006. ON THE 27/07/07 IT BROKE DOWN AND I LOST ALLTHE FOOD INSIDE. I HAD TO WAIT 2 WEEKS FOR THE REPAIR. ON THE 22/10/2008 IT BROKE DOWN AGAIN AND ALL THE CONTENTS WERE LOST THROUGH DEFROSTING. AT THE TIME OF WRITING THIS REPORT 30/10/2008 I AM STILL WAITING FOR IT TO BE REPAIRED. NOT THE SERVICE I EXPECTED FROM MIELE. VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE FROM THE FREEZER. ALSO VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE AFTER SALES SERVIC FROM MIELE.

Zero reliability, stressful, expensive and an awful company to deal with.
"...we received appalling treatment from Miele who refused to acknowledge there was an inherent design fault on their circuit board.
We were promised, after the third replacement, that they would remove the appliance and refund us the cost. In the event they reneged and refused to allow us to speak to the person we had been dealing with. Even their engineer told us that washing machines and dishwashers were fine but not to touch fridges and freezers.
