The menu system is very easy to use, and there is also a useful 'i' button which elaborates on the program you have chosen (e.g. "for crockery with dried on starchy food" or words to that effect, I'd check but the machine is running at the moment...). ...I can't fault this dishwasher, whatever I throw at it comes out beautifully clean. From the dirtiest pans to glass and china, everything comes out sparkling. I thought my old dishwasher did the job until I bought a Miele and realised what a dishwasher should do. The cutlery tray is a must, leaves so much more space for big items. And this machine is super quiet - you really don't know its on. Considering what a quality machine you get its pretty good value for money too. The one downside is the fitting instructions - you need a degree to decipher the diagrams. But this machine definitely comes highly recommended. From now on, when my other white goods need replacing, I'll always choose Miele.... Read review

Advantages: very robust and reliable
Disadvantages: pricey!

...This is the second miele dishwasher i have had and the last one i had lasted me twenty two years with only minor repairs! This version also seems to live up to its 'grandads' expectations. This version is extremely easy to use and gets my dishes very clean and has a range of washes with different temperatures, i tend to use the prewash which unfortunatly doesnt heat and then the 85'c wash.The pump is also quite strong and takes away most of the food but it helps sometimes to put it on a wash with nothing in as every so often the food builds up inside of it and ends up on the clean dishes at the end of a cycle. As i said the machine is very robust but incase anything does ever hapen to it, miele call out charge is reasonable but the parts are extremely expensive as i found out when my old dishwasher broke down, i find its cheaper to use...
