We have been using this Dishwasher for two weeks now and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. Apart from looking elegant it is the quietest machine we've ever owned. We installed it ourselves which is just a case of following the instructions to connect the power, water inlet and the wastewater outlet, and within 10 minutes it was washing the dishes. The display is very informative and gives you the projected time to completion for each variation in the program. After the first wash the dishes did not appear to be completely dry and the troubleshooting guide recommended increasing the amount of rinse aid dispensed. Again following the guide we reprogrammed the software to dispense 30% more rinse aid - up from 3 - 4 on the display. Subsequently every wash has been perfectly dry. Obviously the factory defaults cannot cover every brand of Rinse aid or powder. If you stack the dishes too high and obstruct one of the wash arms - the machine tells you. Our previous Miele Dishwasher (G579) lasted 18 years and the Miele Washing Machine is over 20 so we are hoping for the same longevity from this one.
