Most of all I want to recommend Miele. They supplied me with this built in microwave at a large discount to help me out when the AEG microwave (MCD1751E) I had originally purchased, which was still within its guarantee period broke and AEG were unable to fix it or supply me with a new microwave/grill to sit in the built in cupboard which had been specifically hand made for it. The care and level of service received by me from Miele will ensure that from now on it will only be Miele for me. My mother owns a Miele automatic washing machine and she has had it for 24 years, so I think the brand name speaks for itself. You are getting quality and good back up service, both of which are equally important to me. The microwave is easy to use, and I like the quick start function that allows you to microwave something for 30/60/90 seconds at the push of a button if you are in a hurry. I chose it specifically because it also has a grill function. I think it is a good looking appliance. I also notice that it has a free 2 year guarantee, whereas the AEG only offered 1 year. (As it turned out for me, their one year guarantee was worthless, because offering to refund my money, but leaving me with a hole in the wall in a brand new kitchen was no help at all.) As I said in my review title - its Miele for me from now on.

Advantages: It looked the part but wasn't up to the job Disadvantages: The grill element broke twice. The second time it left shards of glass inside the microwave.
