Not something that I can really get too excited about, buying vacume cleaners but here goes.
There was a simple reason I went and bought the Miele S5210, I subscribe to the Which magazine and it had mentioned the Miele S5210 (recent publication) had consistantly come out as the best over all performer.
Being as our upright vacume had died recently I saw no reason why I should doubt this and bought one today. All I can say is that it is miles better than the upright I had before, all the attachments pack away in the vacume which means they will be found when needed (unlike the clip on attachements on our last vacume)
Myself and the wife are both 6ft tall but the hose is long enough that we don't need to break our backs bending over and the vacume is light enough to pull around without any effort. The 2200 Watt motor makes sure that anything you push it at gets vacumed which is good and the vacume bag repalcements were cheaper enough , somewhere around £8.99 for five bags.
You can see what you get below, if like me you just want a vacume that works, is going to be reliable and of sufficiant build quality that you don't cry after using it a month then I would suggest this is one for you.
4.5 Litre Dustbag Capacity, Super Air Clean Filter, 2200 Watt Power, Onboard Accessories, Automatic Cord Rewind, Dustbag Full Indicator

I used to believe that Which offered the best and nearly bought a Miele but so glad I went for a Sebo cylinder - bags are available everywhere and is a lot smaller than Miele models which is perfect for this 6footer too!

Yup it cleans very well on all surfaces, did the stair carpets no problem at all, maybe the suction is a bit much for lino if you forget to change the head settings
Advantages: Great power with 6 different settings. Handy size. Easy to use. Design. Disadvantages: Not the cheapest out there but great value for your money

Review of Miele S 5210
Advantages: Whisper quiet, light, excellent tool storage, easy to buy replacement bags. Disadvantages: Not cheap, although given the quality on offer, really good value.
